Sports injury clinic in Burlington, Ontario

Whether you're rehabbing a torn ACL or trying to shave time off your 5K, our Burlington team treats competitive athletes with the same precision your sport demands.

What we treat

From injury rehab to performance edge.

We work with athletes at every level — weekend warriors, competitive amateurs, varsity, and semi-pro. If your body is your instrument, we know how to tune it.

ACL & Ligament Injuries

Pre-surgical prehab, post-op rehab, return-to-sport testing. We follow evidence-based timelines and don't clear you until the numbers say you're ready.

Throwing & Overhead Injuries

Shoulder impingement, labral issues, rotator cuff strains, elbow pain. Sport-specific rehab for baseball, volleyball, tennis, swimming, and more.

Running Injuries

IT band syndrome, shin splints, stress fractures, plantar fasciitis, runner's knee. Gait analysis and load management to fix the pattern, not just the pain.

Concussion Return-to-Sport

Graded return-to-play protocols, exertion testing, and clearance. We coordinate with our concussion clinic for complex cases.

Muscle Strains & Tendon Issues

Hamstring tears, quad strains, Achilles tendinopathy, patellar tendinitis. Progressive loading programs that get you back stronger.

Performance Optimization

Mobility screening, movement assessment, strength benchmarking, and sport-specific training plans for athletes who aren't injured — just want to be better.

Our approach

Rehab that respects your timeline.

We understand the pressure to get back. We won't rush you, but we won't hold you back either. Every phase has clear criteria before the next one starts.

1
Sport-specific assessment

We test what matters for your sport — not just range of motion, but strength ratios, single-leg stability, power output, and movement quality.

2
Phased rehab program

Each phase has objective benchmarks. You know exactly what you need to hit before progressing — no guessing, no arbitrary timelines.

3
On-field integration

Sport-specific drills, agility work, and practice simulation before full return. The gym-to-field gap is where most re-injuries happen.

4
Return-to-sport testing

Objective clearance criteria — hop tests, strength symmetry, sport-specific performance benchmarks. You go back when the data says you're ready.

Frequently asked questions

Common questions about sports rehab

Where can I find a sports injury clinic in Burlington?+

OMNI Health & Rehab is at 960 Cumberland Avenue in Burlington (L7N 3J6), just off Harvester Road. Our team includes physiotherapists Stephanie Aubin and Juhi Israni plus chiropractor Dr. Anil Kaushal, and we match you with whoever fits your sport and injury best. Call (905) 635-5711 to book.

How much does sports physio cost in Burlington?+

Initial assessments are $125 for 60 minutes, which gives us enough time to actually watch you move and build a real plan. Follow-ups are $75 for 30 minutes. We direct bill all the major Canadian insurers, WSIB, and motor vehicle accident claims, so most Burlington patients pay little or nothing out of pocket at the visit.

When can I return to sport after an injury?+

It depends on the injury and the sport, but guessing is how athletes get reinjured. We run return-to-sport testing through our partnership with a large Burlington fitness facility, looking at strength symmetry, hop tests, and sport-specific benchmarks for runners, throwers, racket athletes, and field sports. You go back when the numbers say you are ready, not when it just feels okay.

Do you treat ACL injuries?+

Yes. ACL rehab is one of the things our Burlington team handles regularly, both pre-surgery prehab and post-op recovery from full reconstruction. We progress you through strength, plyometrics, cutting, and sport-specific work, then put you through objective return-to-play testing before you go back to your team. We treat both individual athletes and full teams.

What's the difference between regular physio and sports physio?+

Regular physio gets you out of pain and back to daily life. Sports physio gets you back on the field at full speed without breaking again. In Burlington, our crew works with overhead athletes like volleyball and baseball players, racket sport athletes in tennis, squash, badminton, and pickleball, runners, and weekend warriors who refuse to slow down.

How long is ACL recovery?+

Most ACL reconstructions take nine to twelve months before return to cutting and pivoting sports, sometimes longer for younger athletes where reinjury risk is highest. Timeline alone is not enough though. At our Burlington clinic we use objective testing — strength symmetry, hop tests, and sport-specific drills — to confirm the knee is actually ready, not just healed on paper.
