Adjustments that make sense, for problems that don't go away on their own.
Chiropractic in Burlington, Ontario
Evidence-based chiropractic care in Burlington for spine, joint, and nerve issues — with hands-on skill and a treatment plan that's actually going somewhere.
What we treat
More than just cracking backs.
Our Burlington chiropractor treats a wide range of musculoskeletal and nerve-related conditions. If something feels stuck, stiff, or keeps flaring up — that's where we start.
The most common reason people see a chiropractor. We assess alignment, mobility, and muscle balance to treat the cause — not just manage the flare-ups.
Desk posture, whiplash, cervicogenic headaches, pinched nerves — targeted adjustments and mobility work to restore pain-free range of motion.
Tension headaches and cervicogenic migraines often start in the neck. Spinal adjustments and soft tissue work can reduce frequency and intensity.
Radiating pain, numbness, or tingling down the leg or arm. We identify the source of compression and treat it with adjustments, traction, and rehab.
Shoulders, hips, ribs, SI joints, ankles — when a joint isn't moving properly, everything around it compensates. We restore function at the source.
Rounded shoulders, forward head posture, desk-related pain. We correct the alignment issues and give you the tools to maintain it.
Our approach
A plan, not just an appointment.
We don't do indefinite twice-a-week visits with no endpoint. Every treatment plan has a goal, a progression, and a clear finish line.
Orthopedic testing, range of motion, joint assessment, and nerve screening. We figure out exactly what's driving the problem.
Precise spinal and joint adjustments based on your findings. We use a variety of techniques and match them to your comfort level.
Muscle release, trigger point therapy, and instrument-assisted techniques to address the tension patterns around the joint issue.
Strengthening and mobility exercises so the adjustment holds. The goal is independence — not a lifetime of maintenance visits.
Frequently asked questions
Common questions about chiropractic
How much does a chiropractor cost in Burlington?+
At OMNI Health & Rehab, your initial chiropractic assessment is $125 for a 60-minute visit with Dr. Anil Kaushal, and follow-up adjustments are $75 for 30 minutes. We offer direct billing to all major Canadian insurers, plus WSIB and motor vehicle accident claims, so most patients pay little to nothing out of pocket. Call (905) 635-5711 if you'd like us to verify your coverage.
Do I need a referral to see a chiropractor in Ontario?+
No referral needed. Chiropractors are primary care providers in Ontario, so you can book directly with our Burlington clinic any time. That said, some extended health plans require a doctor's note for reimbursement, so it's worth checking your benefits booklet before your first visit. We're happy to help you sort that out when you call.
Are chiropractic adjustments safe?+
Yes, when performed by a licensed chiropractor, adjustments are considered very safe for most people. Dr. Kaushal uses diversified and other evidence-based techniques, and every new patient gets a thorough assessment first to rule out anything that would change the treatment plan. If something isn't appropriate for adjustment, we'll tell you and recommend a better option.
How many chiropractor visits do I need?+
It depends on your condition, but our approach is results-focused, not indefinite maintenance. Many Burlington patients with back pain, neck pain, or sciatica notice meaningful improvement within a handful of visits. After your assessment, Dr. Kaushal will give you a realistic estimate and re-evaluate as you progress. Once you're better, you're discharged. No upselling endless treatment packages.
Does chiropractic help with headaches?+
Often, yes. Many headaches, especially tension-type and cervicogenic headaches, are driven by tight muscles and joint restrictions in the neck and upper back. Chiropractic adjustments combined with soft tissue work can reduce both the frequency and intensity. If your headaches turn out to be something else, Dr. Kaushal will let you know and refer you to the right provider.
What's the difference between a chiropractor and a physiotherapist?+
Both treat musculoskeletal issues, but the focus differs. Chiropractors specialize in spinal and joint adjustments to restore movement and reduce pain, while physiotherapists lean more on rehabilitation exercises and modalities. Many Burlington patients benefit from both, which is why OMNI Health & Rehab offers them under one roof at 960 Cumberland Avenue. We'll point you toward whichever fits your situation best.
