Pilates is a great way to improve strength, core stability, mobility, and coordination. It is perfect for those looking to return to sport or activity after some time off (whether it be from injury or otherwise), rehabilitating a current injury, improving performance, and even those looking to start getting active and don’t know where to start.
Sessions are one on one and adapted to each individual’s specific needs and goals.
Learning Pilates at the clinic is an ideal environment to become confident in beneficial exercises that you can perform at home with minimal to no equipment.
Clinical Pilates has the added benefit of having the option to include hands-on care into your sessions. That means stretching, muscle work, and gentle joint mobilizations can be implemented as needed to improve movement and work through pain and injury.
At OMNI, clinical pilates sessions are provided by Dr Stephanie Tabbert (a registered chiropractor) and can be billed under chiropractic in extended health benefits (please check your individual plans for coverage information).
Please note all provincial protocols for allied health clinics are being practiced at OMNI. Masks must be worn at all times within the clinic.
